We disclose information only where reasonably necessary. Recipients may include:

  • our hosting, email, IT support and security service providers acting on our instructions;

  • professional advisers such as accountants, insurers or legal advisers;

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected, including legal, accounting, security and dispute-resolution requirements. Our normal retention approach is:

  • Accounts and completed commercial records: while the account or business relationship is active and normally for up to six years after the last relevant transaction or communication.
  • Enquiries that do not lead to a transaction: normally for up to two years after the last communication, unless an earlier deletion request applies or a longer period is justified.
  • Technical and security logs: kept for a limited operational period, normally no longer than 90 days, unless required to investigate a security incident or legal claim.
  • Backups: rotated and normally retained for no longer than 12 months, subject to security, continuity and legal requirements.
